Unable to Install the Avo Assure Client
This article describes an issue where a user is unable to install the Avo Client due to download restrictions or security prompts and provides steps to successfully complete the installation.
Error behavior
When this issue occurs, you may observe the following behavior
- The Avo Client download may be blocked.
- You may see warnings preventing the file from being downloaded or open.
- Installation does not proceed unless the file is explicitly allowed.
Possible Reasons
This issue may occur due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Browser security settings blocking the download.
- The installer file being flagged as unverified.
- System or network security policies restricting downloads.
Resolution/Solution
To resolve this issue and ensure successful execution, perform the following actions
- Click on the options menu (three dots) in the download window, select “Keep Anyway” option.
- Navigate to the download folder.
- Locate and open the downloaded file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.
- Complete the installation process successfully.
